Hadleigh Pines (0) V Beechlawn Rovers FC (0)
Amateur Football League, Premier Saturday Division
Venue: Hartstown Park
Date: 10th March 2010

Beechlawn Rovers slipped up in their chase for the top two when they came unstuck against a resurgent Hadleigh Pines team. It wasn’t through a lack of effort though as Rovers attacked the home side throughout, putting the Pines defence under constant pressure.
Derek Mitchell had the best of the chances, hitting the post and bar in succession and then skewing a shot wide of the goal afterwards.
Manager Robbie Roden would be pleased with the commitment and passing shown throughout the game, allied with the clean sheet on the day.
The draw leaves Beechlawn Rovers in fourth place, six points behind Celtic Park but with two games in hand.
As the season draws nearer to a close, a look at the goal scorer’s chart see Damo Murphy still lead the way. Goals against Lusk were expunged after the withdrawal of the team from the league.
